US-based customs broker J&K Fresh has developed a new technology to track perishable cargo.
The firm told Americafruit that it believes its Fresh Look solution will lead to significant efficiency and cost savings for its customers.
Due to be rolled out later this summer, Fresh Look is a web-based SaaS (Software as a Service Model) track and trace technology that bridges the gap between import data, documentation workflow and cargo movement.
It has been designed exclusively for the perishables industry and emphasis the importance of visibility, statistical reporting and trade document imaging management.
“The application is a user-friendly, customer-facing product that will reduce operational workload along with hard and soft costs for our customers,” revealed Larry Antonucci, president of J&K’s US northeast division, J&K Fresh East.
