International vegetable seed breeding company Enza Zaden has announced that crop research manager Jaap Mazereeuw has been appointed to the newly created role of deputy director business processes, a position he will take up on 1 October.
The Dutch group opted to create the role to enhance the board of directors, as the company grows and experiences further internationalisation.
In the position, Mr Mazereeuw will be responsible for the management and coordination of quality improvement projects, which will be executed in close cooperation with managers within the staff, R&D, seed operations and marketing & sales departments.
'The supervisory board and the board of directors are confident that this appointment of Jaap Mazereeuw will contribute considerably to improve and optimise the Enza Zaden business processes,' the group said.
