Citrus production in Israel is expected to grow this season, according to a study by the US Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service.
The report forecasts volumes to increase by 3 per cent year-on-year, up to 601,000 tonnes.
From this, Israel is set to export around 187,000 tonnes of its crop, or 31 per cent of its total yield, with 180,000 tonnes going to the domestic market.
The rest of the crop, some 234,000 tonnes, will go to the processing market, the USDA noted.
