News reports in the Netherlands suggest that this week's investigation by competition authority the NMa into possible price-fixing at Dutch fresh produce companies has also involved visits to the country's largest fruit and vegetable sales organisation The Greenery.
According to the Agrarisch Dagblad, investigators studied sales figures at the company during an unnanounced visit on Tuesday morning.
Other major Dutch suppliers including ZON Fruit & Vegetables, FresQ, Fruitmasters, Fossa Eugenia, Westveg and Best Growers Benelux have also cooperated with the NMa during its investigation, the newspaper said.
