Fresh produce industry monitoring specialist Innovative Fresh is set to strengthen its team with the appointment of Karin Gorree, formerly of Eosta and The Greenery as quality director.
Effective 1 February, the appointment will see her take on responsibility for the Netherlands-based company's monitoring programmes in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the UK.
Gorree previously worked as quality manager at Dutch organic fresh produce supplier Eosta, where she was responsible for managing the quality of the group's entire product range.
Prior to that, she held the position of technical manager at the UK division of Dutch fruit and vegetable marketer The Greenery.
'Karin’s extensive background in quality management includes over 12 years of close working relationships with key retailers, traders and growers in the produce industry,' confirmed Jelger de Vriend, managing director of Innovative Fresh.
'Karin's deep expertise with quality programs will allow us to further professionalise our quality monitoring programmes, resulting in even better service to our retail and fresh produce partners.'
He added: 'Karin will greatly enrich the Innovative Fresh team.'
