The presentation 'Understanding today's global produce safety landscape' focuses on increasing the awareness of this important topic. Food safety is essential in today's food business, andthis is especially true in the fresh convenience sector where perishable products need to be handled with utmost care from the field to the supermarket shelf. Food safety expert Dave Gombas from the United Fresh Produce Association (US) will talk about the industry's biggest challenges and outline some practical solutions.
