International pallet solutions group IFCO has announced that it has appointed Sheri Normandin in a year-long role as a consultant.
Normandin, a former president of the California Tree Fruit Agreement (CTFA), most recently worked as vice-president of sales and marketing for Fruit Patch Sales LLC, The Packer reported.
'IFCO is a great fit for my diverse background and allows me to do some special projects within commodity-specific areas,' Normandin said. 'I can be the liaison between grower-shippers and retail and work towards solutions.'
The group announced last week that revenue and operational profitability both climbed in the second quarter of the year, up 12 per cent to US$230.7m and 38.2 per cent to US$53.2m respectively.
