Capespan North America has appointed Danielle Hand to the position of food safety director, where she will be responsible for managing and directing all aspects of the group's food safety initiatives.
This will include ensuring regulatory compliance, providing grower and customer support and establishing and monitoring supplier food safety verification procedures.
According to Capespan North America, Hand will take the lead in implementing protocols, operating procedures and information systems that will ensure the company continues to meet its customers’ food safety certification needs while also supporting its growers and exporters worldwide in meeting their regulatory obligations under USA and Canadian law.
She will work out of Capespan North America’s Gloucester City, NJ office but will service both the US and Canadian markets.
