German shipping line Hamburg Süd was the most reliable carrier within the global top 20, according to the SealIntel Global Liner Schedule Reliability, which tracks some 1,300 vessels at over 200 ports.
It was found that 85 per cent of Hamburg Süd's vessels arrived on time in July and August of this year, reports the Manila Bulletin.
In second place was Maersk Line, with a 77 per cent on-time arrival rate in July and August, followed by CSAV in July and MOL in August.
According to SeaIntel chief executive Lars Jensen, on-time reliability was highest in reefer trades from South America.
