Tom Lange Company

The Tom Lange Company, one of the largest distributors of fresh produce in the US, has announced the appointment of Greg Reinauer as the next president of the group following a nationwide search.

Reinauer, who starts on 19 March, brings nearly 22 years of experience in the fresh produce industry, after spending his career with Amerifresh/Food Services of America, a produce distributor based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“It was extremely important that we find a new president who could build on the strong foundation already in place at Lange,” said chairman and CEO, Phil Gumpert, in a press release from the company.

In Greg we have someone who has broad, extensive experience in the produce industry and given his background in working with both growers and the retail, wholesale and foodservice segments he was a perfect fit.

Reinauer said he made the decision to join the Tom Lange Company based on the group’s more than 50 years of ”proven success in the produce and transportation industries”.

“I am enthusiastic about the opportunities that exist for growth and the role that Tom Lange will play in the future of the global produce and logistics industries,” Reinauer explained.
