More than 230 companies from 22 countries exhibited at the two-day event
The fifth edition of GreenTech Americas attracted 6,745 visitors, including exhibitors – an increase of 22 per cent compared to the previous edition.
The conference, which was held across two days at Mexico’s Querétaro Congress Centre from 25-27 March, showcased 230 exhibiting companies from 22 countries, making it the leading platform for the controlled agriculture sector throughout the Americas.
It was organised by RAI Amsterdam in collaboration with Informa Markets, who reported that 90 per cent of exhibitors have already confirmed their participation for the 2026 edition.
Ronen Redel of Azrom commented: “Mainly, I wanted to see what are the new technologies, innovation in our sector, to learn more about the local market here in Mexico and in Latin America. And I think I got quite a good idea of what’s going on. In creative areas, it’s been a positive experience. I’ve attended many of the lectures and the panels during the three days. Found some very interesting topics, and I’m taking some insights back with me”.
Emiliano Dupeyron of Viveros Anaya said: “GreenTech Americas is important for my business because it helps us understand what’s happening in other regions and countries, what the trends are and what’s coming in the industry so we can keep improving.
“The reason we attend GreenTech Americas is to explore other markets, analyse the competition, see what’s ahead and figure out how we can continue moving forward. It’s a must-attend event because it gives you a clear view of the current market, the challenges others are facing, how they are responding and that really helps you decide which direction to take and how to keep progressing.”
Conference topics included energy efficiency, optimising supply chains, impact of climate change, labour-retaining strategies and Mexico’s ornamental potential.
Attendee Gabriela Angeles of Iana Nature commented: “The sessions have been very constructive and interesting, and the technologies they have shown have made me realize that it’s time to acquire new technology and apply it to my company.
“They’ve also made me think it’s time to give my company a new direction. I believe it’s time to stop romanticising agriculture and give it the importance it deserves as a primary activity for society. The speakers have provided us with many tips to boost businesses, and since my company is in an expansion stage, the information they’ve shared will help us establish a process and order to follow”.
