GlobalGAP has announced that Prince Pieter-Christiaan van Oranje-Nassau, member of the Dutch Royal Family, will officially open the GlobalGAP Summit on 27 September in Amsterdam.
The organisation has also revealed that Adjiedj Bakas, a trendwatcher and futurologist, will be the keynote speaker in the opening session, while professor Arie Havelaar will be the keynote speaker in the session entitled 'How to Stay Ahead of Food Safety Risks?'
In addition, GLobalGAP has organised two farm visits on 29 September for those delegates interested in seeing the benefits of the organisation's on-farm implementation.
