Gist Limited, a leading UK supply chain company operating in the perishable and chilled sector, has announced that it has opened two new chilled distribution centres in the country, located in Stone and Sheffield.
According to the group, the two new sites are positioned to strengthen Gist's specialist temperature-controlled network throughout the UK and Europe.
The mixed chilled and ambient sites have created employment for over 80 people, including drivers, warehouse and administrative personnel.
'Gist's position as a leading player in the temperature-controlled supply chain has been strengthened with the addition of these new sites,' said Gist chief executive Martin Gwynn.
