Statement from Fruitnet Media International’s managing director Chris White:
We have taken the decision to postpone next week’s Fruitnet Citrus Congress in light of the devastating events in Valencia.
The situation in Valencia has worsened unimaginably in the last few hours. It’s simply inappropriate, indeed disrespectful, to hold our congress in such awful circumstances. People have very many more important priorities at this time. We are postponing to a future date. And we apologise very sincerely for the problems this may cause those planning to attend.
Once again we’d like to express our solidarity with the people of Valencia.
