Organisers of Fruit Attraction say contracted space at this year’s show is up significantly on the same period last year. As at 11 April, when the preferential application period closed, more floor space had been contracted than over the same period ahead of the last event.
Total exhibition space is also up 7 per cent compared with 2013, according to Ifema and Fepex. The show takes place on 15-17 October in Madrid.
A number of parallel activities are also being held alongside the main trade show, including the Fresh and Life workshop on berries, which takes place on 14-15 October, and the III International Seedless Grape Congress, Grape Attraction being held on 16 October.
Fruit Attraction’s director, Raúl Calleja, said: “Fruit Attraction is now firmly established as one of the sector’s benchmark international gatherings, especially at European level.“
