Last week, Jean-Marc Piloquet joined French banana specialist Fruidor, to become the next assistant managing director, responsible for banana ripening and other fruits.
Since the beginning of 2009, Mr Piloquet has been in charge of strategic thinking at UGPBAN, the union of banana producer groups for Martinique and Guadeloupe, which acquired Fruidor last December.
Mr Piloquet left his position at Compagnie Fruitière at the start of 2008.
