From My Farm

Produce World subsidiary From My Farm (FMF) has suspended its operations indefinitely after battling against difficult market conditions, according to a report by the Fresh Produce Journal (FPJ).

The Cambridgeshire, UK-based business focused on local produce and supplied Morrisons and Waitrose. It was launched in 2008 andhad a turnover of more than £1 million.

Produce World business unit director Jon Pollard told the FPJ: 'FMF has developed over the last twoand a half years to become a recognised brand supplying the market witha fresh, regional produce offer, with the aim to supply to all regions across the country. Unfortunately due to the current economic climate wehave decided to suspend our offer for the foreseeable future, but this is not to say we won’t be back, and therefore we would like to thank allour customers for supporting FMF, and please do continue to support local growers.'
