Next year's Freshconex trade fair, which takes place alongside Fruit Logistica on 9-11 February in Berlin, will present a comprehensive market overview of fresh produce convenience and services as the only business and information platform in Europe for the industry.
The 2011 event will be staged in Halls 7.2a, 7.2b and 7.2c, with Freshconex benefiting from its own dedicated entrance, and is expected to attract a large portion of the near 50,000 international visitors that are set to visit Fruit Logistica next year.
In addition to the exhibition, a further attraction at Freshconex will be the Convenience Bar, located in Hall 7.2b, where trade visitors can discover the different fresh fruit and vegetable products on display.
Exhibitors from 17 different countries have already registered for Freshconex, with the show covering the entire fresh convenience industry, from product, processing technologies and specialised packaging to quality and safety.
Participants in the 'Fresh Convenience Products and Ingredients' section will include Aureli Mario (Italy), Bonatura AG (Switzerland), Fructofresh (Poland), Fruity Pack B.V. (the Netherlands) and true fruits GmbH (Germany).
In the 'Product Packaging and Fresh Convenience Processing Technology' segment, exhibitors include Best N.V. (Belgium), CFS Cellpack (France), Food Technology Noord-Oost Netherland B.V. (the Netherlands) and Raytec Vision S.p.A. (Italy).
