Fresh & Easy Neighbourhood Market has announced the opening dates for its first five stores in the Sacramento region of the US, store launches that will create more than 100 jobs with benefits.
The first two stores will open at Mack & Franklin and Watt & El Camino Avenue in Sacramento on 7 March, while the next three will launch on 14 March, located at Lincoln & Sterling (Lincoln), Elk Grove & Calvine (Elk Grove) and Natoma St & Blue Ravine (Folsom).
'We are absolutely thrilled to open our first stores in Sacramento,' said Fresh & Easy CEO Tim Mason. 'No-one works harder to bring customers the freshest, best-tasting and most affordable food than Fresh & Easy.'
Fresh & Easy, the US arm of UK retailer Tesco, opened its first stores in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada in 2007 and now has more than 180 stores in the country.
