Fresh produce supplier Fresca Group has announced that it has made a series of senior management changes, which it says will support its growth plans and provide broader experience for its business leaders.

The group has recruited Stephen Swaiston from Flamingo Holding UK to head up DGM Growers Ltd and Mack Vegetables, where he will hold the title of senior commercial manager, freeing up current incumbent Chris Butler, who is taking over the running of MMG citrus from Garry Cirillo.

Cirillo now takes over at the group's high care and foodservice operation Mack Service, with David Barratt leaving the segment at the end of August, Fresca revealed.

'Our business is at a very interesting point in its development,' noted David Lloyd, board member at Fresca and managing director of Mack Multiples. 'We have ambitious, talented individuals and we're looking to broaden their business experience and provide them with fresh challenges and responsibilities.

'New leadership brings new vigour and drives growth, and with the extensive opportunities we see at the moment, we are putting the right people in the right places for Fresca,' he added. 'I wish them all every success in their new roles.'
