Dutch import-export specialist Timerfruit has confirmed that Ruud van der Ploeg has joined its commercial team, based at the company's offices in the Port of Rotterdam.
The appointment extends the company's commercial staff to five, with Mr Van der Ploeg joining existing members Tim Reincke, Eric Brückner, Entse van der Woude and Corine van Velden.
Mr Van der Ploeg previously worked as part of the sales team at Saphir BV, another fresh produce import company based in the port city.
