The Freshconex 2011 Business Forum, which runs alongside the trade fair on 9-11 February in Berlin, Germany, will open on day one by highlighting new market opportunities for large-scale consumers and foodservice operators.
With the hotel, restaurant and catering (HORECA) sectors being huge buyers of fresh convenience products, it remains a key component for continued industry growth, something that will be pointed out by experts during Business Forum discussions.
Presentations taking place include 'New product development at foodservice' by Steffanie Smith, CEO of River Point Farms in the US, as well as 'The foodservice market in the European Union', 'Taking advantage of Germany's huge HORECA sector', and 'Opportunities for fresh produce convenience in mass catering'.
Topics featured on the second and third days of the Freshconex Business Forums include 'New opportunities in marketing for fresh produce convenience' on 10 February, and 'Staying at the cutting edge of fresh produce convenience' on 11 February.
The Business Forums, which take place in Hall 7.2a at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, is organised by Fresh Convenience Magazine and the United Fresh Produce Association, presenting the latest information and current trends in the growth market of fresh convenience.
