Fresh Convenience Congress 2011

Fresh Convenience Congress has added a new and highly topical session on the E.coli outbreak that has hit Europe to its programme.

The conference and networking event takes place on 14-16 June at The Guoman Cumberland Hotel London in London’s West End, and will focus on the latest trends and developments in the global fresh-cut and fresh convenience sector.

This latest food safety scare will no doubt have an impact on the sector, with a slide in consumer confidence in fresh produce expected.

The highly qualified speakers leading the discussion on this topic include Frédéric Rosseneu from Freshfel Europe (Belgium), Tom Stenzel from United Fresh Produce Association (US), Fresh Factory’s Klaus Klische (Germany) and Mike Knowles from Eurofruit Magazine (UK). Together, they will review the lessons learned from North America’s 2006 spinach crisis and the 2008 tomato and pepper crisis and discuss where the industry can go from here.

With the event being a week away, make sure you book online now to secure your place at this unmissable event!

Preferential rates are available for members of United Fresh Produce Association and further savings can be made online.
