German group Food Freshly has made two significant steps on the North American market that will ultimately open up business opportunities for the company across the Americas.
The company specialises in shelf-life extension and product preservation products, and currently does business in 22 countries worldwide.
“We have completed the registration process with the Food and Drug Administration in the US and also registered our freshness retainer formulation with the agency,” Sukhdev Singh, patentee and managing director of Food Freshly told Americafruit.
The company has also been given approval for its freshness retainer formulation from Health Canada which will allow Food Freshly access to sell its products on the Canadian market.
Singh said Food Freshly is keen to launch and expand its range of products throughout North and South America.
To that end, the firm is preparing to attend major trade shows over the next 12 months with its partners in the US, Canada, Chile and Mexico.
