French pre-packaged salads specialist Florette is set to launch the first of a long-running television advertising campaign in France to promote its innovative zip-up salad bags for rocket and lamb's lettuce.
Two adverts, one of 20 seconds the other a longer 54-second version, will be broadcast on all the major French channels (TF1, France2, France3, M6, Canal+, W9, Direct 8, NRJ12, TMC and NT1) from 25 March until 22 May.
The spots show a father beginning a speech at his daughter's wedding, prompting the waiter to stop serving Florette salad and reseal the bag.
The speech goes on interminably, as listeners fall asleep and grow old. As it finally comes to an end, the now long-haired and bearded waiter unseals the bag of still-fresh salad and resumes serving.
'Opening after opening, the freshness remains,' the voiceover states.
