Fruit Logistica VMP 2011

Starting on 4 November 2010, the Fruit Logistica Virtual Market Place – the key tool for searching out contacts and planning for the key Berlin fresh produce event – will be presented in a new design with a streamlined user interface and many advanced features.

The Virtual Market Place homepage now offers a variety of options for entering information. Visitors can select specific regions such as 'Mediterranean countries' or choose 'Machinery' and other special segments, while for the first time, Freshconex exhibitors will also be present with detailed company and product information.

Along with an improved search engine, the Trade Show Planner has been completely redesigned. Without registering on the website, trade fair visitors can now select and save information on more than 2,300 exhibitors and products in a personal Trade Show Planner.

Visitors can also add notes and print out a trade fair itinerary with a map of the exhibition grounds and hall floor plans. The exhibition hall layouts have been enhanced with a number of interactive features, providing direct access to further information on exhibitors in the selected hall with detailed on-site navigation (available from December 2010).

The web platform also enables visitors to schedule appointments with exhibitors prior to the trade event. Redesigned contact forms make communication with exhibitors quick and easy, and advanced spam filter technology ensures a secure exchange of information between trade visitors and exhibitors.

With 475,000 visitors and more than 5.6m page views each year, the Virtual Market Place is one of the most frequently visited links on www.fruitlogistica.com. This website enables visitors and journalists to efficiently plan their trade fair visit.

Fruit Logistica 2011 takes place on 9-11 February at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds in Germany. Sharing the same dates is Freshconex 2011, the international trade fair for fresh produce convenience.
