The first grapes of the season have just been harvested in France, in the department of Vaucluse, in the southeast of the country, according to French magazine Végétable.
The grapes, grown under cover, have reportedly arrived around two weeks earlier than usual this season and include the varieties Prima, Lival and Muscat.
France's first open-air grapes, of the Lival variety, are expected to be marketed in mid-July.
