The Benelux division of returnable and reusable packaging supplier Euro Pool System has confirmed it will officially take up residence at a brand new office and service centre in Sint-Katelijne-Waver, a major hub for the distribution of fresh produce in Belgium, later this month.
The official inauguration, which will be attended by Flemish minister-president Kris Peeters, will take place on Friday 16 November.
The new complex covers a total area of 55,000m2 and incorporates office space alongside a completely new service centre.
According to Euro Pool System, the centre houses fully automated crate-washing facilities that can handle up to 16,000 crates per hour.
The company added that the facility would allow it to respond even better to the needs of current and future clients.
