New Zealand apple and pear exporter Enza has announced the resignation of its general manager Dawn Gray, who is leaving the company to join importer-distributor The Oppenheimer Group, based in Vancouver, Canada.
Enza's parent company Turners & Growers has a 15 per cent share in The Oppenheimer Group, which has offices in Canada, the US and Chile.
Turners & Growers maanaging director Jeff Wesley told Fruitnet: 'It has been a difficult decision but myself, Dawn and John Anderson (CEO, The Oppenheimer Group) have worked together to mind a mutually acceptable transition.'
Ms Gray will take up her new role in March 2009, allowing Enza sufficient time to ensure a smooth and seamless transition to a new general manager.
