Ellips, an international supplier of grading and sorting technology for the fresh produce industry, has announced that it has ended its partnership with GP Graders and, as a result, will no longer provide its solutions to the company.
'GP Graders has long relied on Ellips to supply the technology utilised on their grading and sorting platforms for cherries, apples and other commodities and we wish them the best going forward,' said Erwin Bakker, president and founder of Ellips. 'However, they are no longer a supplier of Ellips technology.
“GP Graders customers who utilise Ellips True Sort grading solutions will be able to receive software updates, system upgrades and technical support directly from Ellips or their authorised representatives,' Bakker continued. 'This change will not affect the quality of service and support delivered to the GP customer base. In fact, it will create a more direct relationship with Ellips which will help ensure optimal system performance while providing direct access to all future technology enhancements.”
Ellips True Sort parts, software upgrades and system enhancements will only be available through Ellips or its authorised representatives, the group noted.
If existing customers are in need of new grading and sorting technology for cherries, blueberries or cherry tomatoes, Bakker pointed to Ellips' own tailor-made solutions offered by Elifab, an Ellips company.
Elifab has developed a new line of grading solutions that incorporates Ellips True Sort technology with “state of the art” equipment, designed to deliver superior grading performance, product handling, capacity and reliability.
