Medfel, the fresh produce conference and exhibition focused on the Mediterranean region, returns to the southern French town of Perpignan on 22-24 April, with 300 companies scheduled to exhibit.
Egypt will be the guest of honour this time around, the organisers stated, while the product focus will be on citrus, with orange providing the colour theme for the event.
A total of 5,000 visitors is expected to attend over the three days, with 4,000 business-to-business meetings already organised.
A highlight of this year's edition will reportedly be the major presence of buyers from central and eastern Europe, including Russia, as well as from Middle Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait.
