The European Convenience Forum, which takes place on 7 June in Hamburg, will see a focus on how the market for fresh convenience products in the fruit and vegetable sector is in motion and growing.
Some European markets are already stronger than others, but the German market in particular is catching up, with consumers increasingly turning to ready-to-cook salads and other products.
Event registrations have come from all retail formats, an indication of the growing importance of fruit and vegetable convenience for the entire industry.
'We are very happy about the positive feedback from the food retail trade and are very optimistic that an interesting event will succeed with an intensive exchange throughout the entire value chain,' said organisers AMI (Bonn) and Fruchthandel Magazin (Düsseldorf), who are giving this category its first stage on 7 June 2018.
In addition to facts and figures on individual markets, the programme includes important topics such as legal aspects, hygiene requirements, new technical possibilities and innovative materials for sustainable packaging solutions.
On the following day, 8 June, the DFHV will hold its 2018 Annual Conference, giving delegates the opportunity to attend two important events quickly and conveniently with one date.
The early booking price of €495 incl. BBQ and get-together expires today (20 April).
Don't miss this unique opportunity to meet with many decision makers from the food retail industry and the entire supply chain in this segment.
