A group of international logistic operators drawn from key production and consumption areas across the globe have come together to form Easyfresh, a new player in the reefer logistics industry that aims to consolidate existing operations and develop under the new brand name.
The alliance is led by Arkas A. Lojistik (Turkey), Gulf Badr (Egypt), Marmedsa (Spain), Medreefer (Italy), TPG (Slovenia), Seafast (UK), Wilson Sons (Brazil) and Modaltrade/Agunsa Logistica (Chile), with the participation of Norton Lilly (US), Zen Continental (China) and Durot Shipping (Belgium) amongst others.
Offering worldwide customers integrated reefer logistics through experts in the handling of fresh produce, juice, dairy and fresh/frozen meat and fish, Easyfresh means a local presence and global coverage, guaranteeing worldwide logistics support for all temperature controlled traffic.
According to the Easyfresh alliance, it has the ability to connect exporters or importers with perishable cargo to customers and suppliers across the world, including multi-destination solutions that create new business partnerships and opportunities.
The group also provides pre-or post-shipment logistic services from production site to pint-of-delivery, offers competitive transport packages for customers, and provides multimodal solutions through inland trucking and distribution networks.
'We are very proud and enthusiastic to have been able to create, in a rather short time, a unique worldwide network of strong and competitive operators, all sharing a common goal and a sole identity: to become a reliable player in the worldwide reefer logistics markets, providing custom-tailored, innovative and competitive services to the industry,' said Alfonso Clerici, president of Easyfresh co-founding partner Clerici Logistics Group and Medreefer.
