Dole Europe Import, the segment within Dole Europe responsible for the group's Latin American banana and pineapple imports, has followed Dole France in being awarded Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status.
To gain AEO status, the import division was required to meet specific EU criteria, including satisfying customs requirements, providing an accurate management system for commercial and transportation records, proving financial solvency and meeting safety and security standards.
The certification applies to all Dole Europe imports of Latin American bananas and pineapples across all European countries, the group said.
