Dole melons honeydew

Marketing staff from Dole Food Company are picking up nutritional information and education on research by visiting the company's North Carolina Research Campus.

According to The Packer, the visits are designed to better inform staff about the science supporting fruit and vegetable research.

“Understanding the health benefits of fresh fruit and vegetables, and being able to pass that information on to customers, is a valuable tool in each Dole representative’s tool box,” said Nicholas Gillitt, Dole Foods’ vice-president of nutrition research and the institute’s director.
