Fresh Del Monte is to open its first fresh-cut processing factory in Canada, a factory that will serve Ontario and Quebec.
According to just-food.com, the facility will cover some 108,000ft2 and will accommodate 16 trucks simultaneously, while also serving as a forward distribution centre for fresh produce.
Operations at the facility are expected to commence in the final quarter of the year.
