Fresh produce specialist Decofrut has announced that it is to launch a new quality control service in the UK, in a bid to help companies lower costs and reduce losses by ensuring that 'the right product goes to the right customer'.
The group's new state-of-the-art Inventory Management System (IMS) sees a dedicated team of Decofrut quality control inspectors assigned to companies to monitor performance, detect problems and implement resolutions.
Generated reports are sent via the internet and provide a full summary of inspection results, thermograph measurements and digital photographs, while also giving fresh produce organisations the means to generate statistical analysis and graphic creation.
