Interest in the leading trade fair for the international fresh produce industry continues unabated as the official deadline for exhibitor registrations approaches.
With the 31 July deadline just three weeks away, those hoping to display their products and services at Fruit Logistica 2010 are moving to snap up the final spaces.
Based on the latest registration figures from Messe Berlin, over 2,000 exhibitors from 65 different countries around the world are set to present their products and services at the event, which takes place at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds from 3-5 February next year.
The event runs alongside Freshconex 2010, the international trade fair for the fresh produce convenience sector, which also has a 31 July deadline for potential exhibitors.
Earlier this year, Fruit Logistica 2009 underlined its role as the leading global tradeevent for the fresh produce industry with a record-breaking 50,000 visitors from 125 different countries.
A record 2,288 exhibitors (up from 2,110 in 2008) attended theevent, coming from 80 different countries (68 in 2008), covering 88,000m2 of exhibition space (81,000m2 in 2008).
