Logistics giant Damco has announced that Tim Cotton has been appointed as head of reefer sales in the UK and Ireland, a move that took effect on 1 March this year.
In his new role, Mr Cotton will help drive the growth and development of Damco's market leading reefer logistics product, which the group describes as 'a vital component of Damco UK's commercial plan in 2011 and beyond'.
He joins the group from Swiss logistics organisation Kuehne and Nagel, where he held the position of the head of reefer logistics, bringing with him many years of experience in the market.
