Cultivar has announced that it is to open two new outlets at Bilbao's wholesale market Mercabilbao in the autumn, thereby significantly expanding its presence in northern Spain.
The company said there was a lot of potential to increase sales in the region, particularly of high quality products.
With more than 40 years experience, Cultivar is one of Spain's leading importers and distributors. With headquarters in Barcelona and sales and distribution facilities in Madrid, Mallorca and Sevilla, it supplies the whole of the Iberian Peninsula with domestically grown and imported fruits and vegetables, including kiwifruit, apples, table grapes, melons, stonefruit, tomatoes and a wide range of tropical and ethnic products.
As well as being a Zespri panellist, it distributes labels such as Del Monte and Perlim.
