The Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) has announced that it has teamed with Canadian Better Living Television to offer its members sponsorship opportunities that, it says, will build product awareness while supporting its Fruits & Veggies - Mix it up! message.
Canadian Better Living Television is an informational half-hour series that offers Canadians healthy lifestyle solutions, broadcast across Canada on CTV and on the Food Network.
As part of the partnership with CPMA, the series will launch a number of special segments titled from Farm Gate to Dinner Plate: Fruits & Veggies - Mix it up!, featuring partner brands and products while incorporating the principles of the campaign, and focusing on simple ways to add produce to meals and snacks.
'We know there is significant consumer interest in both the Mix it up! and Freggie programmes,' said Melanie Richer, CPMA's senior manager or marketing and communications. 'National partnerships like these allow us to provide our members with an opportunity to reach a ripe audience and play a vital role in spreading an important message that will have a positive impact on nutrition habits, all while promoting consumption of products that drive their business.'
