The organiser of Cool Logistics, the annual European perishables logistics event, has announced it will hold Cool Logistics Africa for the first time in Cape Town on 24-26 April 2012.
Cool Logistics Resources hopes to attract transport operators and shippers of perishables from across Africa to an event that is supported by cold-chain technology companies including ThermoKing and the Port of Rotterdam.
It believes the conference will identify transport infrastructure gaps and help disseminate cold-chain skills to increase traders' profitability.
