Containerships plc, a full service, door-to-door provider of short-sea shipping and logistics solutions, has announced the resignation of its chief executive officer Kari-Pekka Laaksonen.
The group's board of directors has revealed that it will meet today (29 March) to determine his successor.
CMA CGM has proposed to the board that Claude Lebel, the current CEO of Mac Andrews, the parent company of Containerships, takes up the position.
The group confirmed that Kari-Pekka Laaksonen will remain as CEO until his successor is in place.
