Yesenia Tracastro replaces Carles Martí, who remains as president of the group with his wife
Barcelona-based CMR Group has appointed Yesenia Trascastro as general manager, effective from 1 January. She replaces Carles Martí, who will maintain the presidency of the corporation together with his wife, Montserrat Inglada.
Trascastro joined CMR in 2021 after collaborating as an external advisor to the group since 2016. During her time as deputy to general management, she worked on the group’s consolidation strategy, a line that work will continue together with the management committee, also made up of Carles Martí and Jordi Martí in their respective positions of international sales director and national sales director. They are the fifth generation of the family-owned company.
Trascastro began her career as an executive in the banking sector, later working as a business advisor, including tax, financial and business strategy areas.
“My aim at the helm of this great family business, and with the collaboration of all the professionals that make up its staff, is to provide continuity to the business, update business management, and contribute to generating the necessary momentum that will lead us towards a successful future, offering commercial service excellence to our growers and customers as a key factor of our raison d’être,” she said.
