In the US, the United Fresh Produce Association has revealed two changes to its management makeup, with one person entering and one exiting the organisation.

The group announced in its newsletter that Claudia Wenzing, vice-president of business development at the group, is retiring to spend more time with her family, The Packer reported.

Wenzing has operated at United Fresh for the past three years, having previously spent 13 years at the Produce for Better Health Foundation.

Meanwhile, the group has also announced that it is gaining a new education manager in the form of Shannon Young, who joins the group from her position as manager of educational programmes at the Council on Social Work Education.
