The Italian Consortium of Nurseries (CIV) will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a special event ahead of this year’s Interpoma, which takes place on 21-23 November in Bolzano.

The event will feature leading industry speakers, tastings of new varieties and networking and takes place at Bolzano’s Four Points by Sheraton Hotel on 20 November at 4pm.

“Open to all industry professionals and apple cultivation enthusiasts, it will provide a unique opportunity to get a close look at the latest CIV developments—innovations born from decades of research and development in varietal breeding,” the consortium said. “Attendees can enjoy a series of engaging presentations and exclusive previews of CIV’s upcoming projects.”

Speakers will include representatives from Laimburg, Vog, Sanifrutta, and Rajpol, who will share their insights and significant experiences in the apple industry, offering perspectives on new technologies, sustainability, and emerging markets.

“For over 40 years, CIV has been dedicated to developing resilient and productive apple varieties, fostering the growth of sustainable apple cultivation, and providing innovative solutions to meet the challenges of climate change,” the company said. “The November 20 event is an unmissable opportunity for industry professionals to connect, evaluate the future of apple cultivation, and share feedback on these new varietal selections.”
