Chiquita subsidiary Fresh Express has announced the launch of its new convenience-focused value-added salad Kits programme, designed to meet an increasing demand from US consumers for new and flavourful salad meal options.
Available nationwide, the six new Fresh Express Kits joining the group's existing range are House Ranch, House Italian, Chicken Caesar, Chicken Taco and, for a limited time period, Strawberry Fields and Pear Gorgonzola, the latter of which will hit stores in January next year.

'Whether it's a classic Caesar or our new delicately sweet flavoured, limited time only Strawberry Fields Kit, Fresh Express is providing consumers with what they want most – fresh, delicious salad meals ready in seconds.'
The new salad Kits, along with the classic kit options, also showcase easier-to-read package designs that draw attention to the products in the grocery aisles, while they now further engage consumers with new instantly redeemable on-pack coupons and in-pack savings in certain kits.
These new tools, utilised alongside national television and radio advertising, draw consumers to FreshExpress.com where they can learn more about the kits and have the opportunity to win prizes, the group noted.
