Central Market has told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that it will open a 30,000ft2 store in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex next year.
Senior vice-president Stephen Butt said that if the outlet is successful the format would be introduced in other neighbourhoods.
The announcement comes as the H-E-B-owned chain prepares to mark the tenth anniversary of its arrival in Fort Worth.
The Central Market store that opened on Hulen Street in 2001 was a more typically sized 65,000ft2 outlet.
