Six Pakistani fresh fruit and vegetables exporters have been selected by the Netherlands-based Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) for its Export Coaching Programme (ECP).
According to the CBI, the Export Coaching Programme helps the selected companies adapt their products to EU market requirements and standards, become familiar with EU markets and business practices and develop export marketing strategies.
The Daily Times reported that the combined efforts of the Agribusiness Support Fund and the Commercial Wing of the Embassy for Pakistan in the Netherlands had enabled the country to qualify for the ECP for the first time since it was offered to developing countries in 2007.
