Freshconex will open its door to a variety of new product groups for the first time next year, to better represent the growing development of the fresh-cut convenience sector.
New categories on display will include pre-cooked fruit and vegetables, smoothies, fresh juices and other products with a limited shelf-life that require refrigeration.
Meanwhile, the Freshconex business forum – presented in cooperation with Eurofruit Magazine and the United Fresh Produce Association – takes place on all three days of the trade fair, featuring numerous presentations focusing on themes and innovations from the fresh-cut convenience industry.
The event, which is the leading European marketing platform for the fresh produce convenience sector, takes place alongside Fruit Logistica in Berlin, Germany on 3-5 February 2010.
This year over 5,000 trade visitors from across the globe visited the Freshconex exhibition, with 72 companies from the sector displaying their products and services throughout the three-day fair.
